Vacation in Paradise

Wake up to a glorious sunrise and the sights and sounds of the Pacific Ocean. This separate beautifully decorated converted barn is just 100 feet from a private crushed shell beach and the main house.  This cottage suite has ocean views, a queen bed with 500 count Egyptian sheets and a down duvet. Kids (2 max) love the separate sleeping loft - it becomes their secret hideway. Also, there is a kitchenette with a toaster oven, microwave, coffee maker, coffee grinder, half fridge and sink. Plush cotton robes and towels are provided for your use on the beach or in your private ensuite bathroom with shower.  Wi-Fi Internet, VCR & DVD, easy chairs, and privacy make this 300 square foot charmer both cozy and romantic.

Drive through a magical fern forest to your secluded piece of paradise. The cottage shares the property with a Tudor style house on over an acre of very private woods with a large seasonal creek flowing through it.

If it's the right time of year, go clam digging, grab some oysters, or lay out a crab trap. The beach is located between two eagle hunting perches; as well there are otters, seals, mink, ducks, geese, kingfisher, heron, osprey, owls and much more wildlife on the shoreline. Or just enjoy watching the ferries pass in the distance, the sail boats glide by, and the deer forage on the beach at low tide.

Moor your boat off our beach and take your dinghy to the cottage. It's 10 minutes to town by boat.

This low bank waterfront is great for kayaking or canoeing. It's a 30-minute paddle across the mouth of the harbour to Chocolate Beach. Ganges is a fun 45-minute paddle to town - great way to beat the Saturday market traffic!


The cottage is a five-minute drive, or 45-minute walk to the village of Ganges.

Salt Spring Island is 20 minutes by plane or 1.5 hours from Vancouver by ferry - either way is a beautiful scenic trip through the Gulf Islands.

Victoria is a relaxing and picturesque 35-minute ferry ride from quaint Fulford Harbour to Vancouver Island.

One night only stays are charged an additional $35 cleaning fee.
Rates are based on Double Occupancy.

 First child stays free - additional child or guest - $40 per night.

Continental self catered breakfast is included.

A 50% deposit is required to hold booking.
The remaining 50% is due 30 days prior to arrival.

Infants and children are more than welcome
and although the beach is very safe -
WARNING:
The brook needs adult supervision for infants and toddlers.

NOTES

Check in/out policies:
Check in time: 3pm / Check out: 11 am (we're flexible)

Cancellation Policy:
Cancellation or date changes are permitted up to 30 days prior to arrival.  Deposit is forfeited if stay is cancelled less than 30 days prior to arrival.
Apple Beachfront Cottage will refund deposit minus $50 administration fee if we can rebook with another party.

Spring Spa Massage Special (Feb, March, April)

$130.00 per couple (usually $170.00) or $65.00 per person (usually $85.00) for One Hour Massage. The Spa experience includes an aromatic deep tissue hot rock massage to soothing gentle music by one or more well trained therapists in the same hour.
